Stripey Stork Donation

We recently made a donation to Stripey Stork in Redhill. This is a very hard working organisation most of whom are volunteers.

They are supporting the most needy families in our Community and we will be giving them further support during the year. The picture shows founder of the charity Nicola Dawes receiving the cheque from Graham Powell who raised the money and Robert Bogin Vice President of the Club

Some information about Stripey Stork is shown below and further details can be found at

What we do

We collect donations of toys, clothes and other items for babies and children essentials and, after checking they meet current UK safety standards, rehome them with families in Surrey experiencing hardship.

We do not accept direct referrals and instead receive requests from local professionals (health visitors, social workers, children’s centres, women’s shelters etc) on behalf of families in need in Surrey.

We then try and meet the request from the items we have in stock or by putting a call out to our supporters via our Facebook and Twitter page .

Stripey Stork prides itself on passing on items in great condition. We want the families who receive items from us to feel they are receiving a gift and not a handout.
